Season the steak
Pat steaks dry and season both sides with salt, pepper, paprika, garlic powder, and onion powder. -
Prepare dredging station

Bowl 1: 1 cup flour

Bowl 2: egg and milk, whisked together

Coat the steaks
Dredge steak in flour → dip into egg mixture → dredge again in flour. Press coating firmly. -
Fry
Heat oil over medium-high heat.
Fry steaks 3–4 minutes per side until crispy and golden brown.
Remove and keep warm. -
Make the gravy

Pour off oil, leaving 2 tbsp in the pan

Whisk in 2 tbsp flour; cook 1 minute

Slowly whisk in milk

Simmer until thick

Season with salt and black pepper

Serve
Place steak on a plate and pour hot gravy generously over the top.
