Classic Old-Fashioned Cream Cheese Mints

Instructions

1. Make the dough

  1. Beat cream cheese until completely smooth.

  2. Gradually mix in powdered sugar until a soft, non-sticky dough forms.

  3. Mix in peppermint extract.

  4. Divide dough and tint with food coloring if desired.


2. Shape

  • Roll into small balls and flatten with a fork
    OR

  • Roll into ropes and cut into bite-size pieces.


3. Set

  • Place on parchment paper.

  • Let dry at room temperature 2–4 hours or until firm.

  • Store in an airtight container.
