Cook the pasta
Boil pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside. -
Cook the chicken
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
Season chicken with salt and pepper, then cook until golden and cooked through, about 5–6 minutes. Remove and set aside. -
Make the sauce
In the same skillet, add garlic and sauté 30 seconds until fragrant.
Stir in heavy cream and chicken broth. Bring to a gentle simmer.
Add Parmesan cheese and stir until melted and creamy. -
Combine
Return chicken to the skillet and toss with the sauce. Add pasta and mix until everything is coated evenly. -
Serve
Garnish with chopped parsley or basil if desired. Serve immediately.
