CRISPY FRIED MUSHROOMS

Instructions

  1. Prep the coating stations

    • Bowl 1: flour seasoned with salt and pepper

    • Bowl 2: whisk eggs with milk

    • Bowl 3: breadcrumbs, Parmesan, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika

  2. Coat the mushrooms
    Dip each mushroom in flour, then egg mixture, then breadcrumb mixture. Press gently so the coating sticks well.

  3. Fry
    Heat oil to 350°F / 175°C.
    Fry mushrooms in batches for 2–3 minutes, until golden brown and crispy.
    Remove and drain on paper towels.

  4. Serve immediately
    Sprinkle lightly with salt while hot.
