Instructions

  1. Prep the jalapeños
    Slice jalapeños lengthwise and remove seeds and membranes (leave some if you want more heat).

  2. Make the filling
    In a bowl, mix cream cheese, shredded cheese, garlic powder, paprika, salt, pepper, and optional chives.

  3. Fill
    Spoon or pipe the cheese mixture into each jalapeño half.

  4. Wrap
    Wrap each stuffed jalapeño with a half slice of bacon. Secure with a toothpick if needed.

  5. Bake
    Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
    Place poppers on a wire rack over a baking sheet.
    Bake 20–25 minutes, until bacon is crispy.

  6. Serve
    Let cool slightly—then watch them disappear.
