One-Pan Creamy Chicken (The “Disappears Immediately” Kind)

Instructions

  1. Season the chicken
    Pat dry and season with salt, pepper, paprika, and Italian seasoning.

  2. Sear
    Heat oil or butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
    Sear chicken 4–5 minutes per side until golden. Remove and set aside.

  3. Build the sauce
    In the same pan, add garlic (and mushrooms if using).
    Cook 30–60 seconds until fragrant.
    Pour in chicken broth, scraping up all the browned bits.

  4. Make it creamy
    Stir in cream and Parmesan.
    Simmer gently until slightly thickened.

  5. Finish
    Return chicken to the pan.
    Simmer 8–10 minutes until cooked through.
    Stir in spinach if using (it wilts fast).

  6. Serve immediately
    Because leftovers are… unlikely.
