Sausage Cream Cheese Crescent Bites

Instructions

  1. Cook the sausage
    In a skillet over medium heat, cook sausage until browned and fully cooked. Drain excess grease.

  2. Make the filling
    While sausage is still warm, mix in softened cream cheese (and cheddar if using) until smooth and well combined.

  3. Prepare the dough
    Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
    Unroll crescent dough and separate into triangles. Cut each triangle into 2–3 smaller pieces.

  4. Assemble
    Place a small spoonful of sausage mixture onto each dough piece. Roll or pinch closed.

  5. Bake
    Arrange on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
    Bake 12–15 minutes, or until golden brown.

  6. Serve
    Let cool slightly and serve warm. Watch them vanish.
