Bacon slices

1–2 tablespoons all-purpose flour

Optional: black pepper, paprika, or cayenne
Method 1: Oven (BEST for shape & crunch)

Preheat oven to 400°F / 205°C

Line a baking sheet with parchment or foil

Lightly sprinkle flour over both sides of the bacon
(very light — don’t cake it on) -
Lay bacon flat (use a rack if you want ultra-crisp)

Bake 18–25 minutes, flipping once
Perfectly flat, shatter-crisp bacon every time.
Method 2: Skillet

Dust bacon lightly with flour on both sides

Place in a cold pan

Turn heat to medium

Cook slowly, flipping occasionally, until golden and crisp
